The work of the Bit the Spectrum project partners never stops! This year has been full of ideas, innovation, and rich collaboration that is bearing fruit! The partners of the Erasmus+ Bit the Spectrum project, co-funded by the European Union, project number: 2021-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000033091, are always committed to achieving the important goal of improving the educational process in the social-emotional field through AR-VR tools for students with ASD. The partnership’s work is carried out in various phases, leading to the completion of the different project stages:

  1. The open online course focused on teachers of special and VET education together with ICT consultants (available in all partnership languages: English, German, Spanish, Italian, and Finnish).
  2. The development of a quick guide for all educators to effectively create learning units using modern technologies for learners on the autism spectrum, based on human-centered design technology. The guide will soon be available online for free in the various partnership languages.
  3. The development of 20 AR exercises, co-developed according to the human-centered design methodology to develop social-emotional skills in students, complete with descriptive templates and a user guide for the 3DBear App. Soon to be available online and translated into partnership languages.
  4. A set of 8 AR exercises developed by the project partners, based on the human-centered design methodology, to simplify students’ approach to everyday situations. Currently under development and adjustment, and soon to be available online.
  5. Constant monitoring of the exercises’ impact on students through tests, pilot phases, and questionnaires carried out by industry professionals.

All project results will be translated into the partnership languages to ensure they reach as many people as possible!
