On December 09th and 10th, the Bit the Spectrum (project number: 2021-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000033091) Consortium met for the final project meeting, hosted by partner OvGU in Magdeburg, Germany.
The meeting marked the conclusion of the partner meeting but not the conclusion of the hard work to meet all objectives, the work of the project continues as we move toward the final stages.
The meeting involved all project partners: IRSEI ETS from Italy, OvGU University from Germany, 3DBear from Finland, LUOVI from Finland, and Skills Divers from Spain.
Partners had the opportunity to discuss the progress made so far, including the technical building of VR exercises and the translation of exercises‘ descriptive AR guide, the review of the results of the online training, now available in all project languages: English, Finnish, Italian, German, and Spanish.
Partners also had the chance to identify necessary adjustments to the VR exercises and plan for the next steps to finalize them, alongside organising the upcoming multiplier events, which will allow the participants to explore and experience the project’s VR exercises via headsets.
Partners also shared insights on the pilot test phases and discussed how to validate student feedback. The meeting was highly productive, with all partners committed to improving the current results and moving forward with the final phases of the project.
As we approach the final stages, the project’s focus remains on enhancing the social-emotional skills and basic literacy of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through innovative AR and VR environments. The upcoming multiplier events will provide a unique opportunity to showcase the project’s outcomes to a wider audience and allow users to experience the VR exercises firsthand.
